let me ignore all my studies and tell you about this brilliant show, the only competition show i actually love watching from beginning to end and the only show that can never go wrong, unless your favorite person is out of the contest, then there shalt be tears.
(to me) all contests are the same, the lady judge who thinks everyone is cute, the handsome/hot judge who thinks everyone is ‘swell’ and the ‘mean one’ who is just plain mean. of course the mean one gets to be nice sometimes, because then it’s just …showbiz.
so you think you can dance is completely different. yes, not everyone can REALLY dance, but the ones who do, will take your breath away. the judges are all wonderful and their instructors are brilliant and the dances are gorgeous and the music they choose is beautiful; the entire show leaves me in awe.
i remember the first time we ever watched this show, we were in yemen (yes jerks, we have TVs and cable in yemen), and we were so hooked that some of our family members (even though they don’t know english that well) were very keen to watching it. the whoas, awwws and occasional tears are worth every minute i spend on this show.
i just wanted to make a post on how much i love this show. carry on with what you were doing.
I miss watching this show, I followed the first season once they showed it on MBC4 from beginning to end. Absolutely loved it, I still remember the guys from it till that day. After that, I lost the motivation to follow it.
